Class Description:

This training happens ONLY 1 to 2 Saturday mornings a month from 5:45-7:45am. They are open to small groups/teams as well as individuals to join with a limit of 25 participants who pre-register and pay online. Cut off at 25 so that all participants can’t get the proper amount of attention during the workout.

The 2 hour Race Ready Endurance session is not a race. Although this longer session does simulate a lengthy obstacle race (such as a long SPRINT or a short SUPER distance spanning 2 hours) it is a unique opportunity to find the specific weaknesses you may have (Either with a certain obstacle, endurance or form) so that they can be improved upon before race day.

There are no chip timers or medals, but there are obstacles and LOTS OF THEM and a special trophy for one person at the end who can grit out a fun endurance challenge. If at anytime you do not feel comfortable with an obstacle or other exercise movement, please talk to the trainer and a modification will be provided for you. Every participant will progress through the workout at a pace that they are comfortable with. This session in most cases involves 1-3 miles of (running or walking) on concrete and trails and/or other on-site cardio movements.

There is no water or mud to wade through since this is an urban setting so there is no need to prepare for that. Please wear footwear that you would be comfortable running a 5k or 10k race in. Treaded trail show are recommended for grip.  No need for a hydration pack because water is provided. The most important focus of this session is that all exercises and obstacles are completed with proper form and participant safety in mind. We are all here to push ourselves to our limits while remaining injury free. It’s about continuing to improve and in the process help others to do the same.
