HERE ARE SOME ANSWERS TO A FEW OF THE MOST COMMON FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS TRAINING.

The 2 hour Race Ready Endurance Training is just that, A TRAINING, not a race. Although this longer training does simulate a lengthy obstacle race (such as a SUPER distance spanning 2 hours) it is still a training and a unique opportunity to find the specific weaknesses you may have (Either with a certain obstacle, endurance or form) so that they can be improved upon before race day. There are no chip timers, t-shirts or medals, but there are obstacles and LOTS OF THEM. If at anytime you do not feel comfortable with an obstacle or other exercise movement, please talk to a trainer and a modification will be provided for you. Every participant will progress through the workout at a pace that they are comfortable with. This training in most cases involves 3-6 miles of running on concrete and trails. (If running long distance is an issue for you we have allowed participants to ride bikes so that they can still take part) There is no water or mud involved in this urban setting so there is no need to prepare for that. Please wear footwear that you would be comfortable running a 5k or 10k race in. You are welcome to use a hydration pack if you desire, but water is provided at both gyms. The most important focus of this training is that all exercises and obstacles are completed with proper form and participant safety in mind. We are all here to push ourselves to our limits while remaining injury free and safe so that we can continue to progress and improve and in the process help others to do the same.
